What happened?
My mom and dad came to school last night to see my levels in Maths, Reading and Writing and how I was doing at school. We sat and talked for a while and they took everything better than what I would've imagined. I don't know how long we talked for, but after a while, my teacher — Mrs Mills — came and went over what she thinks about me and what else. Overall it was pretty good, but she said we could leave when she was done if we wanted to, they were more than happy about that.
What did you like/dislike about it?
As quite stressing as it felt to be getting ready for it, it wasn't at all that bad, in fact it was really good, and my parents were both proud that I've gotten good marks for all of them, so I'm glad about that, but I'm still a little edgy about trying to contribute more, not too proud of that but they know I'm getting better at that so... Yeah.
What feedback did your whanau give you?
They said they were amazingly proud of me and the fact that my writing is fantastic, but they want me to get into the (I forgot what it was called) high classes in College, so I have to be working hard getting a good mark for Maths and Reading.
What would you change if you could?I don't think I'd really change anything, maybe my Maths results or I guess the sports, cultural and other stuff because I haven't gone into much of that, I would've liked to, but yeah.
